Butter is creamed for two minutes.
White and brown sugar is added then creamed again for another two minutes.

Dough is shaped into 1 1/4 inch balls, placed about 3 inches apart on lined cookie sheet and flattened in crisscross pattern with a fork. Bake until light brown in 375degrees.
